“It’s Pronounced Metrosexual is a site where advocates of social justice can find helpful articles, fun graphics, and other resources designed to be shared in an effort to advance social equity. It’s a site that helps people help people be better people. (it’s also a one-man comedy show, read more on that here).” (from the about page)
IPM is my flagship in pretty much every way. It’s the main show I perform to make ends meet, and have for years. Before there was InTolerance or S.E.X. there was It’s Pronounced Metrosexual. Actually for about a year before there was even IPM (as most know it: the place with the graphics and articles everyone shares), there was IPM (the show).
I’ve redesigned the IPM site several times. It started as a simple showcase site that was quite ugly, I upgraded it to a simple showcase site that was less ugly, then I rebuilt it with blogging in mind (creating my first ever custom WordPress theme), and I’ve overhauled the design and build twice since then. At the launch of the current version of the site, it’s safe to say it was my prettiest and most effective web design/build I’d ever made — a feat I try to top with every new (and serious) project site since.
